GUYS LOSE IT TO LOSE IT!
What exactly does this mean?
To put it plain and simple it means to clean up your body from the inside out. Yes this is detox time! Detoxes should not be crazy and extreme.
They should be high in fiber and full of fruits, vegetables and very lean meats. Gentlemen notice I did not say do some crazy cleanse and sit on the toilet all day.
Here are the Top 5 Causes of Belly Fat:
5. Alcohol.
You’ve have heard the term “Beer Belly” your whole life.
Well it’s all alcohol not just beer.
Every drink you have is typically twice the serving size intended. Now think about this for every drink that you have it slows down your metabolism for 2 days. Yes, it takes 2 days to flush out and process the alcohol.
Now add in the extra food that you eat while drinking and BAM you are fat before you even realize it!
4. Sugar.
Sugar is very addictive as a refined product, hence why we can stop after having one apple, but always want more than one candy bar or soft drink.
So as of today no more refined sugar (soft drinks, candy, adding extra sugar to coffee or tea).
3. Processed Foods.
Processed foods are any food not in the outer ring of the supermarket.
Processed is exactly what it says it is which means added sugar, salt, high fructose corn syrup (corn syrup), colors and dyes, preservatives and more.
Look at it this way if the food last longer than two weeks on a shelf it is processed and should be avoided.
All of the extras that are added to the food take a very long time to breakdown if they breakdown at all.

2. High Fructose Corn Syrup (Corn Syrup).
The FDA recently changed high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) to corn syrup because so many people refused to purchase products containing it.
The main reason so many people are refusing to eat is that your body can not break it down and use it as fuel.
1. Artificial Sweeteners/Sugar Alcohols.
Artificial Sweeteners/Sugar Alcohols are low in calories this is true.
They also stimulate the body into thinking that sugar has been introduced and now needs to be broken down to be used as fuel. The body produces insulin to breakdown sugars that are not really there causing an insulin spike. An insulin spike refers to a rise and fall in levels of insulin in the body.
Insulin is a hormone released by the pancreas and acts upon increases in blood sugar. It is responsible for storing away hidden energy in the calories we consume.
When there is no addition blood sugar the body gets confused and this can often lead to a ‘sugar crash’ which refers to the feeling of lethargy caused when insulin levels fall back down.
Quick recap: You need to detox with real food and your caloric intake should be 2000 or less calories a day.
This should last for at least 21 days.
Avoid sugar, processed foods, corn syrup, and artificial sweeteners/sugar alcohols. If you can stay dedicated to the detox you can lose between 10-15 lbs.
