Imagine, for a moment, that you had no birth certificate and your age is based on the way you feel inside.
How old would you say you are?
My guess is you said you feel younger than you are. But you want to look younger too, right? Either way, most of us want to be younger…
In fact, a flip occurs in our mid-20s:
- 60% of 20-year-olds want to be older.
- And by age 26, 70% would prefer to be younger!
Here a 5 Ways To Stay Young with Better Health Choices:
5. Get enough protein.
Collagen and elastin are what supports your skin.
You need to get enough protein in order to produce enough collagen and elastin in your skin. The Recommended Dietary Allowance for protein is: 0.36 grams of protein per pound of body weight per day. (Or 0.8 grams per kilogram).
To find out how much protein you need is simple, Multiply your weight in pounds by 0.36.
4. Be active throughout your day.
People who live the longest across the globe don’t tent to go to the gym.
They don’t lift weights or do classes. Instead, these people lead very active lives in a different way. They build it into their everyday life.
So, what do they do?
Somethings they do include: Farming, walking, gardening, spending time outside and doing chores with their hands instead of machines.
What’s more, they tend to exercise that involves others. Things such as yoga, tai chi, soccer, hiking and any team sports in general. Being social and active at the same time is a great way to keep you young.
The way you should think about it is this: unless you have some athletic goal or job that needs fitness, visiting the gym is an option but not a necessity. You might be glad to hear that.
As long as you have an active lifestyle you can skip the gym.
