You have choices on whether you want to be fat & sick or healthy.
The decision to be healthier is the most important choice you can make with your life. Therefore it can and will change your life forever. The decision includes changing your behaviors towards food, exercise and recovery. Basically what I am saying is that you have to be open-minded as you move forward.
- First you need to make the decision that you want to be healthier.
- Second you need to make a plan that YOU can follow.
- Third seek advice from a wellness professional that has experience and don’t be cheap this is your health.
Your thoughts about alcohol and food intake need to be modified in a big way. For example alcohol needs to be limited, if not eliminated. You also need to realize that you need to eat to lose fat, but you need to eat quality foods. Exercise must also become a regular part of your life. Yes I am saying that you need to get off your backside and move!
You are not getting any younger and your body requires more attention in the recovery department than ever before. As you may or may not have noticed your body does not recover as fast as it did when you were 18.
Making a plan that you can follow is critical to your success. The plan will need to have short term, medium term and long term goals. All of these goals need to be achievable in the time that they are set to be reached.
Your goals can be decided by you and an experienced wellness professional. When you meet with a professional you should discuss a plan for exercise, nutritional requirements, as well as, rest and recovery. If the wellness professional cannot help with each part then ask them for referral to another experienced wellness professional. The most important part is to not be cheap with whom you pick to assist you.
The choice is yours so choose wisely.
